THIS WEEK ON TV: This week, we open our edition of Terra Santa News with an interview with the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Fouad Twal, who participated in the latest consistory at the Vatican, in which by the will of Pope Francis, the current situation in the Middle East—including the never-ending conflicts and Christian persecutions—was also discussed. The ecumenical life of the Church in the Holy Land was at the center of the second Biblical Day sponsored by the Palestinian Biblical Society that was held in Bethlehem, with the participation of the heads of the churches of the Holy Land along with that of many local Christians. Palestine also comes up in our report about the new Guest House that opened in the picturesque village of Sabastia, near Nablus: an initiative by the Jericho Mosaic Center, with the Pro Terra Sancta Association that provides work opportunities for local youth. We then go to Italy to tell you about a musical tour that was held in Venice that had as its protagonists the youngsters of the Magnificat Institute in Jerusalem, the school of the Custody of the Holy Land that in 2015 will celebrate its 20th anniversary. We close this edition with a report in Italy and once again with the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, who presented his book-length interview Jerusalem, Capital of Humanity in Rome.
